The wedding was lovely, the reception, Fantastic ^____^ and the honeymoon in Jamaica, gorgeous and wonderfully free of wedding planning.
Now back to the grind.

Count Down

It recently hit home that I'm getting Married in about eight months. O_o And while am by no means unprepared, I still find myself freaking out over the approaching date. What I'd really like is to sell more of my prints and maybe take a census about the possibility of doing other merchandise and how many people would be interested. (I am still doing FaneXpo in Toronto this year) That and get an online store going as well.

Still an art geek

FaneXpo was a bit of a roller coaster this year. Over all a lot of fun, I got to chat up a lot of interesting people, including Jennie Breeden (without realizing it till later) Lar Desouza and Ryan Sohmer. I didn’t quite break even this year but considering the fact that I was trying to cover the expenses of an entire table and at the far end of AA where everyone had a rougher time of it, I didn’t do too badly at all.

Sean and I also came to the conclusion that I need to start prepping a lot more Blub stuff to put online. (Hence the current in progress piece) It'll get me used to drawing a lot more quickly and give me some much needed practice before I get in over my head with the Elsewhere project.

Sweet Merciful Marker Gods

For anyone in canada who uses Tria Markers, go hunt down a Loomis and Tools right now. They are clearing out their Pantone Tria’s to make room for the new Letraset Trias. The pantones are going for a fantastic bargan of $3 per marker. (those bad boys usually go for $7)
I got really lucky about finding out about this. I needed to do a marker run in any case today and then found out about this. I love it when the art supply gods smile on me like that.
